Just like Clos Normand, the garden to which Monet dedicated much of his life in Giverny, this collection offers a bias perspective, a slight asymmetry: Cristina Linassi re-proposes in a minimalist way the staging of nature in which the affected disorder of every single element is recomposed in a higher harmony.
The goal of the garden in Giverny, like that of Japanese gardens, was to create ideal miniature landscapes. The same goal has inspired this collection.
The use of the Valencienne lace edged with a darker thread makes this twig appear as if it were painted: an elegant artifice to achieve the maximum simplicity.
